Applied Communication Interest Group Announcement
Greetings ECA Applied Communication members,
Happy Friday! Two weeks ago, I shared an announcement which included our business meeting minutes and a call for nominations for the leadership rotation in the Interest Group. Since then, I have received one nomination (Mary Donato from Central College). Because only one candidate has been nominated, we will do an election by acclamation. Mary will serve as Secretary in 2024, Vice Chair in 2025, and Chair/Program Planner in 2026. Thank you, Mary, for your service to our Interest Group!
As a reminder, Erin Craw (Chapman University) will be planning the Applied Communication Interest Group for ECA 2024. Erin will be sharing the call for submissions with you when it becomes available.
It has been a joy to serve the Applied Communication Interest Group over the past couple of years. Thank you all for your work, support, and engagement. I hope you all enjoy the last few weeks of the Spring semester.
