ECA 2022 Convention - Political Communication Interest Group Call for Papers

ECA - 2022 Convention

Call for Papers

Political Communication Interest Group

Resilience - 2022 Eastern Communication Association Conference

Philadelphia, PA

April 7 to 9, 2022

Submission Deadline:  October 15, 2021 11:59 (ET)

The Political Communication Interest Group is requesting paper and panel submissions for the 113th Annual ECA Convention in Somewhere, U.S. The 2022 ECA convention will be an opportunity for (re)union! If all goes well, the 2022 convention will be our first “in person” ECA after two years of being unable to gather our community together. We seek to make ECA 2022 an occasion of joyous reconnection and opportunity to build new connections among our community members. We also seek to make ECA 2022 a location of reflection, deliberation, and learning as we emerge from the global pandemic and consider how we as Communication educators and scholars will contribute to a post-pandemic world.  At this year’s conference Somewhere, we welcome individual paper and panel submissions that incorporate (re)union into our understanding of political communication research, service, pedagogy, and/or practice.

Papers and panel proposals must be submitted electronically by October 15, 2021 at 11:59 PM (PST).  The Political Communication Interest Group of ECA utilizes Attendee Interactive to manage all submissions and blind-reviews.
