Short Course 4: Creating our future in Integrated Marketing Communication: Integrating IMC into the Communication Curriculum

This workshop introduces participants to "best practices" for developing and teaching Integrated Marketing Communications as part of their Curriculum. While instructors may feel they lack the background to teach courses reflecting industry expectations, this workshop provides tools necessary to effective instruction of IMC subject matter and skills. This course will be valuable to instructors who teach applied communication courses relating to IMC, and seek to expand their ability to engage students in learning and skill development reflecting current IMC practices. A secondary purpose addresses how to adapt IMC concepts into their existing curriculum and to applied communication degree programs.
